Wow, the first time I saw her was at another forum where the poster only post one polaroid of her. And now that I saw a lot more pictures, I'm in love. I love her hazel eyes. I think she is gonna make it big. Move over Channel and Jourdan! Rose is here to take the tittle.

Ahh! Her eyes are to die for! She also have a nice body. Hope she is gonna be very successful.

I'm wondering what some other people think, regarding the article with Paul Rowland on the Imagist. I think it is a valid point that Rowland should want to find models that fit the androgynous beauty that Supreme has made famous, but it seems a bit strange that after so many seasons he has only found one girl that fits the criteria who doesn't appear to be solely Euro-descent.

Rose is a marvelous find with such a romantic, thoughtful look and I don't mean to detract from her impending success, nor do I mean to imply that Rowland's stance is insincere, but rather am sincerely curious. Is it that there are models Supreme would like to take on but are at other agencies, is there a drought of non- Euro models with edgy looks, a matter of timing and fashion "politics" that the average person wouldn't be privy to, or does Rowland really mean to find one "powerful girl"? Or none of the above/some combination of those reasons? I'm sure there are people in this thread who are knowledgeable about this and witness it from a much closer proximity than I, so I wonder what a few of these people think on the subject? Thanks.

^^Perhaps it's me, but I believe in the simple philosophy that beautiful is beautiful. I don't care what ethnic background a model comes from, as long as she's interesting and challenges commonly held perceptions of beauty. Rose is exactly that. She's sleek, elegant, adrogynous to a tee, sophisticated and expensive looking; an all around "powerful girl."

Also we have to remember that while Rosa is the first black girl Supreme has had in a while, Sasha Gaye Hunt and Jaunel McKenzie were also Supreme girls at one point. I agree with YAARS that we should focus on the fact that Rose is a girl with a powerful look and heaps of potential.

I agree that beautiful is beautiful. I dislike it when people treat models of african descent as if they must be compared against each other or that "black model" has to be a precursor to every comment about them , as if it's some sub category or pertinent to their body of work. I was only curious because it seems there are a lot of striking models of various backgrounds but they don't seem to be pushed in that same type of direction or make it to such a reputable agency as Supreme. But as I said i don't mean to detract from her imminent success, it was just something I was curious about (and perhaps other people would be curious as well to know), since the comment on his stance on the issue so to speak was so brief and a little vague. but thanks for the replies anyway, and i agree that she has a great career to look forward to!

.......for some reason i am compelled to go on record for this one.
i have had the privilege of working and serving some of the biggest names in fashion over the past twenty years...but if i am perfectly honest, since my first meeting with kate moss i haven`t felt so in "awe"of a girls beauty, presence,being,as now with la rosa negra!!!
some would say i have a sixth sense when it comes to girls. i "feel" their majorness while in their presence. it 's not even the beauty it`s the powerful,all encompassing energy of their being that overwhelms me.
when i first met rose i became very quiet and was trying to come to terms in my own mind how blessed i was that this "gift" fell into my hands. this girl is a benchmark in fashion for many reasons. trust me . i will do everything to make sure this girl goes down in history. there are many reasons i feel this way, but the main one being.....she deserves it.
