Royal wedding: Charles and Camilla

Ok, I have to be the voice of decent. I loath Camillia and Charles both and I just hope that they fade off into the sunset together.

I thought that neither of them look good, actaully both looked extremely old. The white dress completely inappropriate their second wedding. It should have been in the light blue or pink range. The service of blessing dress was aweful with the blue and the god-awful gold threading...it has ghetto fabulous written all over it.

As for Zara, about what one expects, maybe a little better. She does have her mother's sense of fashion and moms showed up in a 12 year old dress.

I am ready to be rid of this generation of of Royals (I am ok with the Queen; The Duke of York -- still hot; and Edward and Sophie. OK so it is Charmillia, wow that sounds like a virus and Anne, that I am ready to move to the background and never be seen again) and move on to William, Harry, Beatrice and Eugiene.

I didn't see her at the blessing ceremony, but she was there, Crownprincess Mette-Marit of Norway, and I love how Rowan Atkinson along with Stephen Fry were the only two who dressed correctly with a hat. Hah!:D

i agree with him as well, but to me it seemed a little humoristic from his side adding the whole "OUTRAGE!" part.. but maybe he was dead serious and i'm a douchebag:blush:
i've seen him on tv before and he seems like a pretty humourless guy.:p

I thought Camila looked beautiful. Her dress in the blessing was stunning. The thing about Camilla is she knows how to dress with CLASS and she dresses appropriately for her age and for the occasion.

Not like that tramp Zara. I'm sorry but didn't Britney wear that outfit in one of her videos? It made her *** look HUGE as well. I thought she looked like a little tramp and I don't get the big fuss about her.

I thought Camilla's daughter had the most beautiful coat on...really stunning.

P.s. Diana was an idiot, and I don't think she was that pretty either.

:woot: :woot: :woot: aww I love Rowan, he looks brilliant :woot: :woot: :woot: thanks for the pics ^_^ :flower:

True. For the Queen's jubilee he did a bit as Osmond Darling-Blackadder, keeper of Her Majesty's lawn sprinkler, which was too funny

I believe Rowan is an ambassador for the Prince's Trust...which is why he was invited. He looks vevry handsome when he isn't pulling stupid faces.

Imagine you're invited to the wedding of the year, you get all dressed up in YSL and this is how they photograph you:

I wouldn't doubt but that she'd backhand you with her little handbag if you did!

rowan atkinson looked adorable, btw. I love him.

all the overhead/aerial camera angles were not so good for william's hair. it's really not that noticable in real life but camera it's really magnified. :(

I have no idea, but the social "elite" tend to wear kind of funny hats, they love hats especially royalty because code and whatever says that they have to wear slightly conservative outfits the hats are a means to express their individuality. Or something.

Oh everyone wears over the top hats to weddings, sort of unspoken tradition isn't it?
I thought the first of Camilla's dresses was boring and typical but appropriate, and loved the second - seemed more grey on TV... great shape on her....
Although I think she's great, I have to agree with everyone else on Zara (she needed a good bra!). And wasn't Harry adorable?! It was so funny in the Sunday Times, there was an article about her saying how he 'bounced onto the front seat of the royal bus, grinning with his nose pressed against the window, waving at the crowd", and how he "tried to persuade William to high kick his way down the street to St George's Chapel". But yeah - whats he doing with that girl?!

Harry is indeed qute!!!

About the whole hats thing to anyone who's curious:

Originally women didn't show their hair in church, choosing to wear veils or other types of headwear.
Example from Tudor times:

But as time went on women gradually started wearing these hats instead or quite recently, these headpieces. I believe someone mentioned this in the 'which religion are you?' thread.

And if you think these hats are bad wait till you see pictures from Ascot.....

If my mother saw pics of Zara, I'm sure she would say that she looked like "a tart". That girl always manages to look cheap. Did she think she was dressing to go bar hopping? Guess she didn't realize you she was going to a royal wedding.

my take on Charles and Camilla..why didnt they just do it all those yrs ago in the first place? would've saved a lot of ppl including themselves all that trauma and their marriage wouldnt have such a negative vibe to it.

on the other hand, its probably better they didnt though..there would've been no Princess Di and we'd be missing out on Harry and Wills, the best and only good looking Brit royals to ever walk this earth..though i never thought id live to say this, but i think Harry looks better than William now! never saw that coming!
