Ruby Jean Wilson is an Australian model of repute. Have you seen a recent Marc Jacobs or Louis Vuitton campaign? Then you may already know RJW. We subjected her to our ten-part model questionnaire, which deals with pressing issues like tan lines, changing the Australian national anthem, and what one might do if transformed into a wedge-tailed eagle.

Tina Summers: Where are you while answering these questions, and what's outside your window?
Ruby Jean Wilson: I am catching the train from Sydney to the Central Coast. Beautiful views of the Hawkesbury River.

Are there any Australian films, television shows or novels that you feel are representative of what life is like Down Under?
I used to watch Round the Twist and feel like that's the ultimate #tbt for any Australian in my age group. The theme song is so great.

Who are your Australian heroes?
I've never really thought about it. Kylie, because those gold hotpants were the reason for my pre-teen 'I'm going to be a pop star' stage. Kath Day-Knight is my ultimate style icon.

What makes you think of home?
Probably the sound of bell birds in the early morning. You definitely don't wake up to that in NYC.

Australia is known for its natural beauty. If you could give it a little retouch, what would you change?
I'd probably make the immense distance between cities smaller. I'd love if the distance from city to Coast was a little less, too. The hour-and-a-half trip, despite being beautiful, definitely becomes tedious.

You are Australia's Prime Minister for the day. What Australian song would you change the national anthem to?
The theme song from Round the Twist.

You're a giant wedge-tailed eagle and you can fly to and live in any place in Australia. Where would you spend the rest of your days?
Hyde Park, Sydney. Near the fountain.

Which of Australia's many wonderful wildlife species is your spirit animal?
I can really identify with koalas. Who wouldn't want to sunbake in a tree all day eating snacks?

When was the last time you had tan lines?
Does fake tan count?

Who is the coolest person Down Under?
My BFFL, Milli.
