Rachel Rutt also features, and there's a male model ed too.

Imo not a fantastic issue. Lots of articles, but it's just the same stuff over and over again. Eds are a bit bland. There's like one page of colour in the whole issue.

Geez! Delfine's back! :buzz: Though I must admit I'm not liking her new look. But it's great to see her on a magazine cover again. ^_^ Thanks for the scan! :flower:

I'm kind of tired how their issues lately have been centered around the cover model. Like what they did with Eniko & Alessandra.

And this is all I got of Delfine's ed untill the batteries in my stone age camera died. So, sorry.

Oh, Delfine! :crush: :crush:
One of the few models that revive the SCesque model fanatic in me.. and the fact that it's shot by Davidson makes it more exciting for me.

Everything looks lovely and lighthearted, perfect for summer for sure. I want this.

Amazing! I love the simplicity yet ferocity of the shot. Is that Gucci?

it reminds me of the i-D cover with Julia Steigner, other than that, it's o.k

This is the interview from the magazine, which is also published on the website.

Delfine Bafort. She’s the Belgium-born beauty with a deep voice and heavy French diction. The Girl in a Chemise for Dazed & Confused, Bafort has tripped the Land of the Fairy for V Magazine, campaigned for Balenciaga, and walked for the likes of Lanvin. Standing at “one-metre, seventy-seven-and-a-half… or seventy-eight”, her casting video proved worthy of the Ford blog. “Nice to meet you, and hi,” she says, straight to camera. On the big screen, she skipped the beats of love in Felix van Groeningen’s Steve +Sky and starred in Vincent Gallo’s Promises Written in Water opposite Sage Moonlight Stallone.

Who are you style influences and why?
Everything except the 80s and 90s. You will not find me in a rock and punk outfit.

What makes for an interesting dynamic? A good team?
Impassioned and talented people who aren't afraid of a sparkle of light and humour.

Who inspires you?
David Lynch and Lars Von Trier, Samuel Beckett and Arthur Miller, Frida Kahlo and Dorothea Lange, BAM Theatre and the Brooklyn Bridge Park, Manhattan and squirrels, Ford Models, my school The Royal Academy in Ghent (KASK), my friends, family and my ex-boyfriend Gabriel…

What has been your favourite collaboration in life so far?
Working with Vincent Gallo for the film Promises Written in Water, with Felix Van Groeningen for the film Steve + Sky, and with Johan Grimonprez for his short film Looking For Alfred.

What are you currently obsessed with?
My cat, jogging and dancing.

What do you remember most from your childhood?
My sisters, my two great protectors. We were always together like a clan; during the nights we would sneak into each other’s rooms and stay up late to talk and laugh and do silly things.

If you had your time over, would you do anything differently?
More passion, less compulsive thoughts.

To unwind after a hard day’s work I like to...
Go home and have a glass of wine.

First impressions are...
Energy, movement, body language, colour and scent.

Right now, I’m listening to...
David Lynch’s I Know.

I couldn’t live without...
Honest love.

The last movie I watched was...
Ringu (the Japanese version).

My favourite food is...
1, Thai; 2, Japanese, and 3, Italian.

The last book I read was...
Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita.

Not many people know I...
Want to be feminine.

On the runway, I’m thinking about...
The music and the atmosphere.

On screen, I’m thinking about...
I try to be in the scene, in the moment; I think about the moment of the scene, and I try to do this without thinking but still with a required concentration.

When I see myself on screen...
I try to look at myself in an objective way.

My biggest indulgence in life is...
I have many and a lot of them are hazy which I prefer.

My favourite people in the fashion world are...
Nicolas Ghesquière, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Mario Testino.

My wardrobe consists of...
Eclectic clothes.

I always wanted to...
Perform and create.

I never thought...
People would call me a model. I find it awkward to speak of myself in that way, so I rather say I work as a model and my passion is acting.

If I wasn’t modelling, I would be...
The same person.

My nicknames are...
Fifi, Fieke, Fietje and I was Schatje for a while.

The best advice I was ever given was...
You can do it, you can do it, you can do it!!!!

I look up to...
Trees and leaves and creative people with a good heart.

You would never know it, but I would love to…
Act in a Japanese horror movie.
