I'm in love with traditional Russian babushka headscarves and shawls, ones like these:

I know they're mostly worn by older women (hence "babushka"), but I think they're beautiful and would love some to wear this winter.

The above shawls are from rusclothing, and I found a few on eBay, but does anyone else know of any other places I could order some (from the U.S.)? I'm looking for ones that are authentic, from Russia, not mass-produced rip-offs for Forever 21 or the likes.

Also, I'd be delighted see any inspirational photos you might have with lovely scarves/shawls like these. Ways to wear them?

Here's a few I found from a post at stayfancyfree.blogspot (original sources ptcampbell @ Flickr, Phill Taylor, Streetstyle Aesthetic, Hannah Metz).

Love it when worn around the shoulders too...I have some that my mom got for me in Russia. They are so soft and the colours are sooooo dense.

I have an amazing vintage woollen Jacqmar scarf (thrifted several years ago) that is a bit like these. I mostly wear it around my neck, though I have used it a few times to shield my hair from drizzle. And yeah, if you can, get the real thing, not one of those flimsy highstreet lookalikes!

my grandma has many of these. I'll ask her to give me some of them.

These are nice to wear during the (rather cold) winters and as others have said, can also be worn around the shoulders. I've met Muslim women who have complimented my headscarf because of the modesty it represents.

I think its a really cute look for winter, I wish I had one! It's an elegant alternative to a beanie.

Some vintage babushka inspo:

I think a simple blackdress with that head scarf and a black leather clutch and black strap leather heels would look great
