AVA & RYAN COUPLE’S RETREAT - Wilhelmina’s own power couple, Ryan Schira and Ava Smith, are also the adventurous type. They set out on their ten day escape to the Virgin Islands, staying at the lovely Long Bay Beach Club; finding solace hiking a few miles to the more isolated Smugglers Cove. They’d spend afternoons swimming, reading, and relaxing on the desolate-yet-beautiful beaches. Taking a ferry to Virgin Gorda, they rented a house for the week on Mahoe Bay. One morning they took a hike to the top of Gorda Peak National Park where the highest point offers an eye-popping 1,360 foot, 360 degree view. Exploring the island some more, the couple kayaked, snorkeled, and took in the sights, including one very special sunset caught from the Mineshaft Café, approximately one mile from Copper Mine National Park. All in all – Ava and Ryan’s trip proved to be one for the books.
