I just find it strange no one ever mentions or refers to her as lebanese. She's only half mexican.

It's not strange at all, pretty natural as your information isn't quite accurate.
Her father, like a lot of people from her town in the state of Veracruz, has Lebanese descent, but he was born and raised Mexican, and obviously so was Salma, many years later.. so I don't know where the half-Mexican or Lebanese thing came from but it's definitely not true.

She looks truly gorgeous at the Alma awards, better than I've seen her in a long time..
