Creative director Massimiliano Giornetti infused the house’s classics with an understated nautical theme. Aside from a few simple shifts, Giornetti focused on wide-leg pants topped with crisp linen blazers, leather jackets, striped knits and feminine versions of men’s shirts. The muted palette of sand, off-white, cocoa and navy blue complemented this easy, refined lineup.

there something uncomfortable about this though I really like the last look.

the pant quality looks straight up gap and he could have had the pants hemmed for the model lol . Otherwise the cut of the pants is nice

I'm not liking this Giornetti guy.
Ferragamo's woman has changed from a very elegant and unusual lady under Ortiz to some ordinary-almost-Gucci girl.
Though there are some really nice clothes here, they are just ordinary.
Is Ferragamo another house sinking into the sea of recession boredom?

Ortiz made very beautiful and glamorous clothes , I have pair of dark crepe parallel pants with satin insets which are stunning, as someone mentioned this is very Frida for Gucci and thats not a good thing.

finally a man who knows how to give women that swagger. those pants have so much effortless cool factor, it's remarkable. and who can hate that gancino clutch? seriously.

This is the kind of clothing the Salvatore women should be wearing; clean, crisp & tailored pieces such as these ones. These are clothes that Ortiz could never come close to accomplishing, which is the reason for why she failed to help the label do any business. Massimiliano Giornetti is truly a genious, and I think he suits the brand perfectly.

how do we call this? Celinization? Phoebelization? i'm not blaming him, it's what the trends are, not mere copycat.
anyway, it looks absolutely gorgeous! very much on trend, and still ferragamo. the leather jacket looks fantastic, the trousers are beautifully cut, long lean, very resort-like relaxed silhouette (now the key look is doing casual when in business, and leave the suits for the weekends in Firenze's countryside it seems :) )

^ lol at Celinization but i so agree. this could've been Chloe Cruise 2011 :ninja::lol:

It's very resort-y and you can tell those clothes are super-comfortable just by looking at them. But the clothes lack energy. There's no "gusto"

It looks like Ralph Lauren.

^in his defense, he's pushing the envelope as far as he can go with the clientel that ferragamo currently has. remember, this is the brand that makes swift sales of square-toed pumps, scarves, and gancino-adorned acccessories for the not-quite-gucci set. also, the streetwise attitude he has introduced in just one season makes the stuff ortiz did look like a joke. seriously, this is what casual wear for the upper classes should look like. match those pants with a sun-worn tank top, a giant straw bag, and a deep tan, they'd find a home at just about every beachside resto from east hampton to portofino. ralph lauren wishes he had it this good.

I'm not really liking it...I know it's a Resort collection but nothing impress me

I like the collection. It's nice, clean, looks comfortable, and the accessories (especially that clutch) are great. I love looks 2, 6, and 7.

clothes in "themselves" are great, but this is bit too easy for ferragamo clothes...
