It is still Paul Andrew, who is rumored to be on his way out. And looking at this pastiche of a collection (am I the only one getting a whiff of BV here?) it is also clear why.

I weep for the days when Ferragamo was clean, chic, sophisticated, tailored, lux, beautiful, etc.

I'm not even going to comment on the use of silver paint. However, this collection is not THAT bad, it just doesn't make any sense for this brand. It's like minimalism from the early '00s seen through a sporty lens. The clothes are just too clean and sporty, almost to the point of Lacoste, that's why the result is kitschy in a way and doesn't fit Ferragamo.

Very Bottega (which I detest!) and they even had time left to do some Rabanne-esque eveningwear to justify the set...

The use of fringe couldn't be any more out of place and it's ugly as sin, god knows why they left that in

I actually feel bad for Paul Andrew. This house already had problems before he arrived and if he's on his way out, his resume will be left with a black mark. I think he had a direction and it's almost ironic that everyone latched onto Daniel's BV when Ferragamo wasn't all that far off, aesthetically speaking.

so I get that it's a cop-out collection, designed purely to pander to Bottega Veneta's hype. But could he at least try to disguise it? The leather looks are near cut and paste!
