Though it looks a little primary to me, I think that this was a good collection for Salvatore Ferragamo. They have been struggling, (as we all know), and I dont feel that it will push it out of its slump, but it wasnt terrible either.

i agree - they have been in a slump and although this collection does anything but WOW me - i think that the individual pieces are very wearable.

wow, the pictures posted in the two different threads are so different, some of the pictures are the same, but the overall feel of the collection is totally different between the two threads. i like the collection from the original SF thread more

i mean it is ferragamo, so i'm not expecting groundbreaking, but what's ironic? this collection has more elements of obvious wealth -- a la gucci -- than gucci itself.

He didn't indulge in the Gatsby moment, but used it as a springboard for the elegant and sporty separates that followed—like a classic shirtdress with short satin French-cuffed sleeves, and a layered tank worn with trousers. Color moved from the covetable bags into the collection about halfway through, when Vlada Roslyakova appeared in a neat lilac knit ensemble. A shiny exotic coat in a purpley blue with three-quarter sleeves, belted low, was a standout, and a strapless cut-work evening gown nailed all the season's trends.
