Saoirse Ronan

She looked so pretty. Red is a great color on her.
I kind of wish the dress was floor-length though.

i hate the dress, but i love her for not always wearing 'safe' dresses, so i can't hate this on her (i know this doesn't make any sense:lol:)

Love the color on her and like the top half of the dress, but the bottom half doesn't fit right. On the runway it was a lot shorter on the model. She probably fits into the runway sizes, just not the height part. I think it would have looked better if it was shorter on her.

Good on her for being there, but it's kind of uninteresting.. I think I would liked it better if the color was darker.

Oh, wow! Was not expecting to see her there. I don't like the make-up but red looks great on her. At least she made some sort of an effort.^_^

She's in the June issue of Bazaar UK.;) Wearing Dolce I think.

I'm not sure about the dress, but I'm sure about the shoes and they're not good :)

I love that she is a Rodarte girl, but not a fan of this dress on her, and those shoes are quite atrocious.

Possible movie news, she may star in Twilight author Stephanie Meyer's "The Host"
Well here’s some Saoirse Ronan news we didn’t expect. Though it’s largely assumed—but still not confirmed—that she will be re-teaming with Peter Jackson with a role in “The Hobbit” and Joe Wright is waiting on her for “Anna Karenina,” Ronan’s next announced project is neither of those and something quite different instead.

Deadline reports that Ronan is set to star in “The Host,” based on the book by “Twilight” scribe Stephenie Meyer. While there are no vampires, the tale is another supernatural love story, this time set in the near future where alien parasite “souls” benevolently take over the consciousness of humans. One such “soul,” named Wanderer, inhabits the body of a dying woman, Melanie Stryder, who just happens to be obsessed with finding the last group of surviving humans. And thus yet another forbidden love is born. The high concept will find Ronan taking both roles of Wanderer and Melanie in the picture, which is certainly an intriguing prospect. And while we’re not too keen on the source material, the possible return of Andrew Niccol to the director’s chair has our interest piqued.

As you might recall, Niccol originally worked closely with Stephenie Meyer on the script and was in line to direct before he became busy with his upcoming thriller “Now.” Back in February, Susanna White, director of episodes of HBO‘s “Generation Kill” and “Nanny McPhee Returns,” had signed on to helm the film, but she’s now out of the picture.

The film will head to Cannes next month, hitting the market looking for buyers. No word on when it might actually film, but considering Niccol is still working on “Now” in advance of its release on October 28th we don’t see it happening until afterward. And that still leaves time in Ronan’s calendar to work on Jackson and Wright’s films if/when those details come together.

I worked on both parts of "Breaking Dawn". Summit is a pretty awful company to work for and I hope Saiorse stays far away! They don't even treat their actors well, let alone their crew members. :yuk:

^Oehh tell more!

Saoirse girl, stay away from everything associated with Stephenie Meyer. You're too good.

I love this girl. I really hope she'll confirm the next project with Joe Wright, I'd love to see her and Keira working together again...

It's confirmed that she's signed onto The Host, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Saoirse Ronan, most recently seen kicking *** to techno music in Hanna, is set to be invaded. Ronan has been cast as Melanie, a young woman whose mind is besieged by a parasitic alien, in the film adaptation of The Host – a.k.a. that one Stephenie Meyer book that doesn’t involve pouty vampires.

The bestselling sci-fi novel follows Melanie and Wanderer, the extraterrestrial “soul” that has taken over her brain, as they experience a sort of paranormal Stockholm Syndrome. Ronan would play both roles, or more specifically, a role within a role, a daunting task that I’m sure the Oscar-nominated actress is more than up to. The film’s producers may be looking to make the character a bit younger: In the book, Melanie is 20 years old, while Ronan is 17.

I agree that she's the perfect actress to pull this role off. As one of my new favourite people, I can't wait to see more of what she can do. ^_^ She already blew me away in Hanna...

I don't find it lame at all, the plot sounds intersting to me and I think Saoirse will bring a lot to the dual-roles. A lot better choice than "The Hunger Games" which she was rumored to be up for.

Summit is a pretty awfully run company. Despite working on their biggest movie ever (Breaking Dawn), all of us employees were treated bad. The management is just terrible. They underpay everyone (except the actors). My boss took a 50% pay cut to work on the film, thinking it would help his career to have it on his resume (which he didn't really need anyways because his resume is great). But even though they pay everyone less, they expect everyone to do way more than usual. The entire project was very understaffed because Summit just wants to make as much money as possible with no care to their employees. Very badly run business. They don't get too many repeat employees from film to film for a reason. Even at our wrap party in Louisiana before the crew went to Canada Kristen Stewart was complaining about how terrible Summit is. Bad crew morale rubs off on the actors too.

I feel sorry for Saorise for getting caught up with Summit. They chew you up and spit you out. Stephenie Meyer is a perfectly pleasant person to be around though so that's good at least...

oh bleh, should of stayed away from summit.

i have yet to see hanna, i hear she's amazing in it!
