Yeah, I share your thoughts.

They started shooting last month, apparently. And it seems that a teaser trailer is coming out tomorrow and will be shown before The Hunger Games this weekend. LOL, the movie doesn't even come out for another year.

If anything, we at least get to see her tackle a dual role. We all know she has a history of excelling in less than perfect films.

The director is good so we never know and Saoirse brings it to every role she plays. It's fair to say that it is likely to be so much better than the book.

the cast for the host looks pretty good. it's a much better book than twilight by the way, although that's not saying much. i didn't even know they were going to make a film

That was a really bad teaser trailer. It's a nice sentiment having fans enter a competition to get the chance to be in the trailer but it hasn't paid off. I hope the proper trailer showcases Saoirse's talent as an actress more.

i kinda like the first half of that teaser, but the second half ruined it all, that was some of the lamest crap i've ever seen.

I dislike Meyer, but I really like not only Saoirse, but also Andrew Niccol, so I have some hope on this project.

Like pretty much everyone else, I really dislike Meyer, but I like Saoirse. So I'm hoping that at least the acting is good even if the story is sort of crummy. The first half of the trailer looked pretty good but then the second half just looks like they photoshopped blue eyes on pictures of random people and made a collage of images. Which was pretty lame. They should have taken footage of these people at least moving, smiling, crying, whatever and not used photo's for it. Because to me it doesn't fit with the rest of the trailer.
