It's absurd how little I know about Sapna Kumar yet I still give her solid placement in my Top 50 All-Time Models. Here's what I do know. She's from India and I first saw her when designer Ritu Beri was invited to present her collection in Paris during the Fall 2003 haute couture season at the Indian Embassy in Paris.

Sapna appears to be about 175cm and clocks (or clocked) in at the 86cm - 62cm - 89cm. Today she's probably about 27 years old but I figure she's been working since, well, I don't know but it must be years. Agency? Got me. The bulk of her work has been during India fashion week.

I think she's brilliant and still has it going on.

Here are two videos so we can see Sapna in action. The first is this "Trendz" something or other video on YouTube with lagging sound but it's fantastic. We learn she's married, her favorite movie is A Clockwork Orange and more importantly how fantastic a runway model she is.

The second video is from FTV. Quality is ace. She's beyond chic, floats on air and is devastatingly gorgeous.

For years I've always hoped she'd pop up in the Big Four Weeks but that didn't and probably won't happen. Still, her body is work is superb.
