^Its not so bad but there were rumors that the reason she was left out of last year's VSFS is because she closely resembles Adriana. I don't know how true that rumor is tho so don't quote me on it lol

In any case, admittedly, the first time I saw Sara I immediately thought of Adriana but now, I honestly don't see the similarities anymore. I mean obviously the similarities are there. Its just that I see Sara Sampaio not Adriana Lima.

^after seeing her walking at Calzedonia show, I've realized the real reason why she was not casted in the vsfs, last year, was her horrid walk... seriously, she is a gorgeous girl, but with such a mediocre walk. plus her rounded square face shape makes her to look uncomfortable and unrelaxed on the runway.

I've actually never seen Sara walk so I don't know. But your opinion of why she wasn't cast in last year's VSFS is just that; an opinion.

I have to agree that her walk could be the reason why she wasn't cast for the VSFS, I saw her at the Calzedonia show where she was the star, she had a great outfit, she looked flawless and then she started walking ... It was just awkward, I felt bad for her to be honest. If she does want to be in the show this year she needs to practice a lot

OK, I just saw a little clip of her walk during the Calzedonia show. Honestly, I've seen much worse walks in the VS show so I doubt Sara's walk is what prevented her from being cast in last year's show. I'm sticking to the Adriana Lima look-a-like rumor. Her runway personality (at Calzedonia from what I saw) even has shades of Adriana.

I doubt it was Adriana's fault, specially because Barbara Palvin walked the show and a lot of people think she looks like Adriana. And Sara has been working on VS catalogues at the same time as Adriana.

Plus this is a show that has Candice, Erin, Lindsay E, Toni, Jessica H & Elsa walking together and looking all like sisters (same makeup + hair for all the girls + too many similar features = fading into each other) and Dorothea & Maud in the same segment so I doubt her looking like Dri was the reason.

I never said it was Adriana's fault. Just that rumor persists that Sara's likeness to her may have prevented her from making the final cut. As for Barbara, I've never likened her to Adriana and I don't very many folks who do. And yes, VS are uninspired when it comes to how they make/dress up their models... however, you can tell 98% of them apart rather easily. Lastly, damn near ever model on the planet has shot for VS! haha

Anyways, none of us know the truth so there's no point in making a fuss. I just hope Sara gets her chance at this year's show. Personally, I'm not a fan of the VSFS, and I haven't watched one in years, but no doubt the show generates tons of media exposure for participating models.
