It seems that her Meisel shoot wasn't for Vogue Italia after all. That it was in fact shot for W caught me by surprise, as it has been two years this month that he has shot for the magazine. How lovely that she was chosen, though; hopefully this will lead to more bookings with him.

You have to appreciate when a beautiful and intelligent young woman is embraced by the industry. Modeling gets a great deal of flack for being so reliant on the charms of girls barely into their teens, but every so often we're given a real lady to enjoy. What I like about Saskia is how she brings an edge to every shoot or show without ever losing touch of the overarching theme. She isn't so edgy that she seems out of place next to a cute girl like Bambi or Daphne, but she's just edgy enough that she grabs all your attention. Best of all she's nice, what more can you really ask for out of a model.

Here is a little snapshot I took of her. I hardly do her justice, but I thought I'd share all the same.

thank you for the latest pics, and Luxx you were so lucky to meet her, she seems like such a great girl.
can't wait any longer for the VP cover, i've been checking her online agency nonstop, but no luck today, curious because in the last 2 years, the cover was released on 17 feb. monday we will definitely see it.

I have to say im really starting love the VP cover, suprised and happy they went for a softer look with her, she really looks so pretty, very curious to see the edit.

fantastic indeed, people can complain all they want, i'm so happy Carine paired her with Daphne, they compliment each other so well.

it's a shame this is her last issue, and i don't think Alt has a soft spot for my girls (Lara, Saskia, Daphne)
