I am not making nearly enough money to have a good one of these yet but I hope:cry: ..I think it was the Marie Clare July 2006 issue that says its a must to do/have before you are 30! Still have a while yet?? Anyone else have one started up yet with old favorites? Or do people generally where the same thing everyday, for every occassion, and every wardrobe they have? I don't think so!!..Spray you collection on us! What's on your Scent Wardrobe!
I have two main scents-Happy by Clinque-its my smell! ITs what i wear during the day, weekends, running errands, sleeping B) cuz I'm cool like that

For work I wear, Goddess by Baby Phat..its light and airy.
For special occasions I wear Live by JLO.

I am looking to buy a new fragrance and I am interested in purchasing one by Hermés..I have never smelled any of the scents but I  the couture bouteilles. Anyone have any of these?

I do it seasonally; Envy Me by Gucci for spring/summer and Euphoria by Calvin Klein for autumn/winter.

As for Hermès, I really like 24, Faubourg although it's pretty heavy (and expensive).

I usually wear VS bodyspray for work or play, Angel for special occassions, and just bought Incanto Charms by Salvatore for p.m.

Ahhh....

Dolce Vita by Christian Dior - my favourite smell on earth!

Well...I don't know if it's a must, but about 3 or 4 scents sounds like a good number..

My everyday = Stella by Stella McCartney
And I have been too lazy to find other things lately...my mother has sooo many perfumes though so I understand the idea of a scent wardrobe.

When I was 16 I wore Angel by Thierry Mugler ALL the time..but I got a bit tired of it..

My wardrobe consists of:

Dior Addict
SHI
RL Romance
Gucci Envy Me
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Chanel No. 5
212 by Carolina Herrera
Marc Jacobs
Chanel Coco
The Body Shop's Vanilla
Burberry Brit
VS Amber Romance

I haven't yet purchased any Hermes' but I would like to start off with 24 Fauborg.

i wear:

coco mademoiselle
dior addict eau fraiche
body shop musk
gap modern patchouli
prada tendre
prada
prada intense
aveda mizan (sadly discontinued awhile back)
sonia kashuk gardenia
rose essential oil

right now i'm eyeing some black phoenix alchemy lab oils, and prada's new mens scent. ^_^

My current scent wardrobe:
DKNY Apple
CK Eternity
Estee Lauder's Pleasures
Dior Addict

I used to stick to one scent and use it until I used up the bottle, but now I'm trying to buy smaller bottles of different scents and either layer them or wear the one that suits my mood. it's more fun!

This might be a bit off topic but how do u pack ur perfumes when u travel?? I'm not talking about a few days travel, like if ur going away for the whole suummer/school etc. Do you pack it in your check in luggage or carry-on? How do you pack it? I'm in constant worry of my perfume spilling. I used to carry them in my carry on luggage but due to the new flight restrictions...hmm...any advice??

When packing your perfume, you're left with no choice these days but to check it, if you're traveling by air. Your best bet is to wrap them lightly in tissue, seal them in a plastic bag, and then roll your sweaters around them to keep them from knocking into one another while packed. And even if they do spill, it'll be contained in the ziploc bag.

As for a fragrance wardrobe, there are a few ways to go about it. You can start collecting some "classic" scents like the older ones from classic houses like Chanel, Guerlain, Caron, and the like; or, you can just pick a fragrance for each of the major areas of your life - a dressy scent, sexy scent, sporty scent, everyday scent.

You can't go wrong with one of the older Chanels - no. 5 of course, or Coco - or one by Ernest Beaux for Chanel (Gardenia, Cuir de Russie, Bois des Isles). They are classics!

For Hermes...if it's your first Hermes you may want to try Eau des Merveilles, which is gorgeous.

I don't have a ton right now but I am slowly building it up.

For anytime-Avon Pink Suede, it's a little powdery but not baby-powdery, or Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea.

For evenings-Avon Little Black Dress, it's too bad they got rid of it! Also Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom.

For springtime-mark Wonderfleur, it's a very light floral.

For winter-Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar, or Chanel Chance.

For anytime, or summer-Avon Wink, a citrusy berry scent, or Bath and Body Works Pink Grapefruit.

oh i feel bad now..i only really use 2...

-DG light blue- for everyday..warmer season
-Chanel No. 5 -big night out, evening, just to feel pretty..

and i must say, i love both...

I have only one perfume, Mania by Giorgio Armani (the original). I'm gonna buy Chanel Chance for special occasions and Stella by Stella McCartney for everyday when I'm out of Mania (it was discontinued  ).

Angel is my favorite, I wear it a lot, I just feel like it suits me
used to love Gucci Rush (or was it Rush2?) but now they're not making it anymore it's impossible to find. That was my going-out-at-night-want-to-smell-sexy scent. i miss it :/
Polo Sport Woman-had the same bottle for like two years now, I don't wear it often
Opium.. got it in my head that I wanted a bottle of opium, so I bought one, but I wear it like once a month.

Next purchases will be Calvin Klein Obsession Night for women and the new perfume, Lucky Number 6, not sure who it's by but i like it

I have to have a wardrobe. While the idea of a signature scent is a lovely thing, wouldn't you be bored? I know I would. I never feel the same way every day, I never do my make-up the same way every day, I certainly don't wear the same thing every day. Besides, when I find a new scent I love, there's no chance I'm going to say, "Sorry, I already have my scent. I can't have you." Coincidentally, I wouldn't drop all of my old faves either. Having a rotation, and always being open to adding new scents, is a great thing. Right now, I'm in love with:

Givenchy Very Irresistible
Burberry Brit
Hanae Mori Butterfly
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
A special concoction of Oriental Musk perfum oils

It's not a large wardrobe, but it's a start.
