Death

yep folks, scott peterson has been sentenced to death and there was no reaction out of anybody, not even the guy himself. You'd think either way he's gonna get hell from fellow inmates if he'd serve life or fellow death row inmates if or when he's gonna be on the row. Damned if he is damned if he's not, oh well.... now it's time to wait for someone to break their silence and do an interview or book deal. Aw.. what powers of money it has!

Oh and by the way, this is kragirk just misskra reinvented, unwillingly that is:rolleyes:

mistake after mistake.
apart from death penalty being a barbaric practice, the stupidity of these people to put someone to death based on circumstantial evidence is beyond my understanding. just absurd and primitive.

oh and hi kragirl, funny to find you in not-so-positive situations all the time:p

I'm with you. Totally ridiculous...

I am surprised with the verdict but I believe it is the right one. It was a tough decision I bet

they said on the news that if you get sentenced to death, you're put in solitary in a single cell that's larger than the other cells. you also get more contact with the outside (like your attorney, etc). he wouldn't have contact with other inmates, because of the nature of his crimes.

I was hoping that he was going to get life in prison and suffer emotionaly and physically for what he's done.

Let him live his life thinking about the wrong that he's done. Don't put him out of his misery by killing him,

S. Peterson will probably live a fairly long life... CA takes about 17 years to complete an execution. We'll be telling our children about this when it finally happens.

That's not necessarily true about contact with other inmates. I think he doesn't interact with the general prison population, but he probably does with other death row inmates at time to time. In CA, I believe 15 death row inmates (or was it 8?) have been killed by other inmates.

A very touchy case for someone, I feel. I think it's odd that there have been people who have killed numerous people who weren't sentenced to death. But with Lacy having an unborn child, that definnitely threw this case into another realm.

Yeah, it's uncommon for someone to got sentenced to death on only circumstantial evidence..but if he did it, that's what he deserves. (All his taped conversations, all his actions after the death...he just didn't ACT like someone NOT guilty. He was always skirting the issue when talking to Amber Fry. Like the jurors said, it was a multitude of moments that added up to a guilty verdict, and ultimately, the sentence of death.)

What REALLY surprises me is the O.J. Simpson case..O.J's blood was all over that crime scene, he didn't have an alibi, he didn't act like an innocent person (the bronco chase with a gun up to his head, saying, "remember the old O.J." THAT murder was also double homicide, extremely brutal...and bloody. He gets off scott-free! (pardon the pun)

It just goes to show you, that sometimes..our justice system is based on how good your lawyers are, and how stupid the jurors are.

Luckily, the jurors in the Scott Peterson trial got it right.

I definitely agree on OJ! Unbelievable that he got off free.

Is this the case where a guy killed his pregnant girlfriend, and had another lover somewhere else? Sorry i am confused, as i used to watch crime night on sky, but havent for a long while?
