Yea... OJ got off "free".. but he'll never be hired for anything ever in his life. For someone who lived off of his fame... that's pretty close to torture.. and shame.maarit said:I definitely agree on OJ! Unbelievable that he got off free.
Was considered for the title role in The Terminator, but producers feared he was "too nice" to be taken seriously as a cold-blooded killer.
i agree...MulletProof said:mistake after mistake.
apart from death penalty being a barbaric practice, the stupidity of these people to put someone to death based on circumstantial evidence is beyond my understanding. just absurd and primitive.
is it really 17 years? i thought the average is around 5-10 in most states.....Rahat Lokoum said:S. Peterson will probably live a fairly long life... CA takes about 17 years to complete an execution. We'll be telling our children about this when it finally happens.
California has the slowest moving death row in the nation - Texas has the fastest. Often, executions take even longer, due to appeals, etc etc.liberty33r1b said:is it really 17 years? i thought the average is around 5-10 in most states.....
that's a pretty long time!
I heard the same thing about California. No telling how long Scott Peterson will sit on death row.Misako said:California has the slowest moving death row in the nation - Texas has the fastest. Often, executions take even longer, due to appeals, etc etc.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I personally would like to refrain from giving judgement on his guilt unless I've seen all the evidence (it's the former debater/aspiring lawyer in me) but from what I've heard, a lot of it is circumstantial. So the likelihood that he'll appeal is high...
He was sentenced to death for killing his 8 month pregnant wife and yes, he had a girlfriend who ended up helping the authorities.LadyIllusion said:Is this the case where a guy killed his pregnant girlfriend, and had another lover somewhere else? Sorry i am confused, as i used to watch crime night on sky, but havent for a long while?
agreedAlejandro said:I really don't believe in death sentence... We're practically doing the same thing he did... I would have just let him rot in hell and live his life in jail and let his inmates have their way with him...
Hmmmm....that would be perfect for Scott!Alejandro said:I would have just let him rot in hell and live his life in jail and let his inmates have their way with him...
