i have to say i'm not too fond of it. i'm kind of tired of this shred-look, or maybe it never appealed to me. i liked it when ann demeulemeester did it...
and i like d sharon wauchob better for more clean cuts and shapes... i don't know...

Thanks for posting anna karina, I couldn't find any more pictures anywhere.

This is really exquisite stuff...excellent use of layering, and all those draping and trailing ends...casually dishevelled. Takes technical cues from Comme des Garcons and Demeulemeester collections past, but puts them in a more overtly feminine context.

I really want to see a video of this collection. I get the feeling that these clothes really shine when they're moving. It's particularly reminiscent of Ann D. in that respect.

i thought so, too.
maybe, probably, you are right about seeing the clothes move(d).

Beautiful... but not exactly what I was hoping for based on those very first pictures.

I think she's taking the shredded style a step too far. Ho Sharon! It's not as organic and flowing as it was in her last few collections. Still there are some looovely pieces, but I suggest she has a look at S/S 05 again ^_^

(INES! :woot: in the first pic)

Thanks for posting Anna. There's one thing and I'll just say it right here so more people will read it cause everybody's doing it. It's better not to hotlink to nordstrom.firstview as firstview will track their referrers and might close the entrance to it! Just imagine! :o:rolleyes: That's why you have to upload your pics to imageshack, tinypic, photobucket or whatever site in order to keep TFS alive. Keep the soul alive!

you are right, perle. i thought about that, too but i was lazy. i might re-edit it later and will edit your post, too then so there's no word about it here:innocent:

I don't know if this is an appropriate place to post this, but quite a few of Sharon Wauchob's Spring '06 dresses are 30% off at Riley James in San Francisco. (Just mention that you received their email about the tax season discount when you go to the register.)

(I have no affiliation with the store, but I apologize to the mods in advance if this is considered spamming.)
