Sharon Wauchob S/S 2026 London | the Fashion Spot

Sharon Wauchob S/S 2026 London

After the joke of Cabbage Patch Kidswear on a cast of hobbits, Burning Man costumes held together with glue and staples, market stall recycled trash, Seeing Sharon’s is emotional.

Without a tinge of exaggeration, Sharon is that sole saving grace of the craphole that’s epitomized London Fashion Week— just like Catherine’s Khaite has been for NYFW’s slopfest.

Without a show, without fanfare, without the obnoxious hype, her sparse but precise offering of studied chaotic texture/volume/layers remains as light as her boa feathers. If there’s a glimmer of justice in the industry, she would have been that chosen one to transcend Calvin Klein into another stratosphere. But she likely turn the offer down anyway. Except for her always favouring these non-existent footwear and the only one unworthy look— #7, by far her most aggressive, even dramatic, and still effortlessly airy and lush offering to date.

I can't hate her for being consistent, but Philo has to kill this aesthetic because I can't recount how many times I have seen those stuff including from Philo's namesake label!

Smells like Phoebe Spirit...
Except it's Phoebe the one who has shamelessly 'borrowed' from Sharon for decades.. especially when Sharon was showing in Paris.

Love this, she makes some pieces that I find objectively hideous (like harem pants, or golden shimmery see-through pants) look like a whole lifestyle I wouldn't mind getting into lol. The way she uses black is always so gentle and elegant.

Jacquetta Wheeler is surprisingly a good fit for this studio/London era.

^^^ It’s just fascinating how Phoebe’s dominion over fashiondom seems to have somehow programmed into so many’s consciousness that she is the be all, end all that even Jean Claude isn’t immune to LMFAO

I don’t mind Phoebe and understand her rule (and I’d be snatching up some of her wears if I were a woman. But her men’s measly efforts have been pathetic, frankly). Just that it’s so blatant whom she takes from, whether that be Sharon, Helmut or Armani, even wholesale at times. I remember there was a post sometime back insisting that she was the first to use silhouettes behind a scrim for her show, when even high school fashion shows have deployed that simple idea… And I’m convinced that there are people that believe she is the genesis of fashion and conjured the industry in 6 days, along with the air that we breathe.

Anyway, the deconstructed trenches distilled into a cut so fine it may as well be silk pyjamas and still the most casual, easygoing and gentlest versions offered by any label that’s showcasing deconstructed trenches. You need them in your closet next spring, Mullet!

I did not know about this. Thank you for the info! So it would be "Smells like Wauchob Spirit" on Phoebe´s thread...

I did not know Sharon was showing since late 90s! So, shame on you, Phoebe!

God everything here is just gorgeous!!!! And the serenity and calm romance is really beautiful. Lovely to see Jacquetta here too.

Would have loved to see her at Lanvin. Although there is a similar essence to what Bouchra Jarrar did when she was there, but I think Sharon would make it less fussy. That being said, wouldn't want her own namesake left behind and have her feel destroyed by working for another brand so frankly she can keep doing what she's doing and I'm happy.
