Oh I love the Elle China pictures : buzz: They all look amazing. Those pics make me smile

#902: Thanks for posting this editorial! Shu looks absolutely beautiful in the fourth picture (left-side). Once again this makes me wish we had some metropolitan newsstand here with magazines available from all over the world...

#906: That's earlier from this year, when her eyebrows, which were shaved off during HC shows in January, were growing back. Those little tufts of eyebrows are so awwwww...ingly cute on her make-up free face!

Love the last 2 outfit! Gorgeous coats and i love how she mixed with some prints

Shu Pei has signed with Maybelline New York! Here's the Chinese press release, edited and cleaned from an online translation:

New York, August 2010 --- Maybelline New York cosmetics brand, both globally and in China, announced today the first signing of international top model Qin Shu Pei. This frank and cheerful, beautiful and charming 20-years old Chinese girl will join Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl, Emily Didonato, Zhang Ziyi and others as another shining star in Maybelline New York's top team of spokespersons.

Shu Pei was born and raised in a small town in China's Henan province. In her short time in modeling, Shu Pei has already boarded Vogue China and Elle China magazine covers and appeared in Vogue UK, Teen Vogue, W and Glamour. She has appeared in ad campaigns for Benetton, Diesel, Gap and other well-known brands. She has worked with such fashion industry heavyweight photographers as Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean, Arthur Elgort, Karl Lagerfeld and Miles Aldridge.

Her debut in runway shows in September 2007 was a great success and since then Shu Pei has become the top of the crop of familiar show faces. She has Prada, Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Louis Vuitton and other top designers brands' shows under her belt. In the model industry, Shu Pei's highly personalized style is acclaimed, and many fashion blogs have noticed her presence. When she's not working, Shu Pei likes to explore the world of delicious Chinese restaurants.

Before joining Maybelline New York's team, Shu Pei had dreamed of becoming one of their family. Now that she has been formally signed with them, she is extremely excited about the brand: "I want to tell to the girls of the world, no matter where you are born, one day you can achieve your dreams."

Maybelline New York Global CEO Damien Bertrand said: "Shu Pei not only looks outstanding, but she also has inner fine. Her dazzling image and style and unique temperament in the fashion world has demonstrated she is fully capable of endorsing and interpreting an international cosmetics brand such as Maybelline New York, where we search for the perfect qualifications and personality. We are convinced that signing with Shu Pei internationally for our team in Asia injects fresh energy."

Qin Shu Pei's Maybelline New York endorsement will start this fall.

Add 20 year old Chinese beauty, Shu Pei Qin to Maybelline’s powerhouse roster of campaign faces. She now nestles beside Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl, Emily Didonato and Zhang Ziyi as a brand spokesmodel. Testifying to the increasing value of the Chinese fashion market, Shu Pei’s signing certainly vindicates the good taste of houses like Prada, Miu Miu, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Louis Vuitton in casting this beautiful girl from the Henan province. As Maybelline New York Global CEO Damien Bertrand states: “Shu Pei not only looks outstanding, but she also has inner fire. Her dazzling image and style and unique temperament in the fashion world has demonstrated she is fully capable of endorsing and interpreting an international cosmetics brand such as Maybelline New York, where we search for the perfect qualifications and personality.
