Single Eyelids Makeup

anybody knows how to apply cool and sleek eye makeup for single eyelids? It's hard to achieve the effects that's shown everywhere because girls with single eyelids tend to have smaller eyes (which i believe, cus i'm one) and it won't work as well as we do not have the 'stackings'. :SSS it's been a problem and i just can't find a solution:S
