She's growing on me, I love her DKNY Jeans ads.

According to a Norwegian blogger (who is from the same city as Siri, is the same age as her and has mutual friends) Siri is booked exclusively for the Prada SS08 ad campaign. This info was posted on his blog on the 24th of August. He also mentions the rumours about her being dropped in the same piece and says that it is "unlikely".

I don't know if it's believeable or not, but I just don't understand why he would intentionally lie about such a thing, especially when Siri and he have many of the same friends. He wouldn't exactly make himself popular.

I guess we won't know if it is true or not until we see the actual campaign.

I'm just passing on more rumours .. Heh.

I guess it's odd just because the Prada show itself hasn't even happened yet, but I guess they know what the collection will look like and the mood, so choosing a campaign star already is a possibility.

^Well to be fair Jessy, we already know who shot Lacoste SS08, so it could be possible that they've already decided who is doing Prada as well.

Yeah this pineapple pic is not very flattering for her, but honestly, nobody's perfect and her smile is cute She seems to be a likable person.

Assuming there's even a hint of truth to that rumor about Siri being dropped from the Prada Cruise campaign, I highly doubt Meisel would agree to shoot her for the S/S campaign. I also don't think Prada would ever cast their campaign this early (I've only heard of labels like Lacoste and Hugo Boss shooting before show season), so it doesn't really make any sense.

Not to mention that Siri would be pretty stupid to tell people who can't keep their mouth shot, had she actually booked the campaign.

So... I obviously don't know, but I definitely wouldn't get my hopes up. :/

I hope this whole mismanagement drama - whether you feel the critique's justified or not - won't hurt her chances too much. I feel like all the nasty rumors flying around might've done more damage than the actual Meisel-Prada cancellation. Which seems quite unfair (if you can ever speak of fairness in this business ). So I'm actually really rooting for her now.
