When Sofia was married to Spike they lived in a fabulous A. Quincy Jones-designed house in LA (Spike still lives there). I think they did a whole feature on it in Vogue around 2000, but I've only seen the photo of Sofia in the bedroom. Does anyone know if there are more pictures or where they can be found? I'm dying to see it.

To be honest I think it's kinda cool that Sofia's wearing two watches. It's sorta quirky and fun. Plus, it's not like anyone could really tell that she's wearing two watches unless she opened up the locket part of the Hermes watch because otherwise it just looks like a bracelet.

Agree with dajrekshn: she probably wants one on Paris time? Or NYC? Not sure where the kids and hubby are at the moment, but that might be a factor. Or maybe it's just a quirky thing.

She looks like she has a migraine Maybe she wears the Hermes as a bracelet because it's a pain to open. I have a pendant watch, and when I wear it I also wear a wrist watch. One, because I can't change the time on the pendant I've never been able to get the stem to pop out. So during part of the year it's wrong. Plus I don't want to grab the pendant and twist it around when I want to know what time it is.

This movie is going to be so weird, no way of invoking her classy styling and dreaminess given the subject matter. I suppose it's good for her career to branch out and try new things though.

^ i agree, nothing about this feel feels like something sofia would normally do. but perhaps that's the point. i've always followed her career and it's interesting to see how her work as evolved. i mean, who would have thought that the woman who directed the virgin suicides would also do a period piece of marie antoinette? i'm obviously going to go see it, and it's great to see her working with kristen dunst again. also, i love her casual looks but that usually goes without saying...

i always enjoy sofia's take on casual 'street wear. ' she totally rocks the faded black jeans and those sick Nike sneaks. love her cat eye shades too!

Sofia manages to be chic, cool, classy and hip at once. How she does it, I don't know. But she is a constant inspiration, both in terms of her style and her work.

Truly adore this woman.
