hmmm, while she looks perfectly good in it, and if i wasn't familiar with her image, i wouldn't think twice, the whole style/look does age her a bit. wonder if she wanted a bit of polish and prettiness post-partum.

i much more enjoy watching her wear chic ensembles with the most casual air imaginable.

^^if you think about it, the hair is mostly the biggest deviation from her style.
she occasionally would wear something more fancy like this, but always with her own bit of nonchalance. never this much effort, and it looks artificial on her, but again, that's because i have an image of her. if i didn't know who this person was, she would look fine, though unremarkable. it's actually quite interesting i guess. now i know what the appeal (for me) is about her.

i love the pink dress. it's a nice deviation; the shape and silhouette of the dress fit in well with the ladylike type of dresses she wears, but it's not her typical black. i think she wears it very simply, with very little jewelry and lowkey makeup. although i agree about the hair...hers is usually so natural, but there's something stiff about it in these pics.

That's from a shoot for a Vogue article she wrote about Charlotte Rampling and what photographs inspire her, etc I think there's only two of the set available though
