Do you remember a beloved winter accessory you lost?
Not an accessory, but I did lose a sweater. It was the coziest sweater in the world: a beige cashmere, oversize V-neck from my granddad with three small holes in the front. I wish I knew where I had lost it so I would know where to start looking; it just disappeared.
What’s one of your favorite winter accessories that you stole from the closet of a loved one?
Baggy sweaters from my dad, and of course I had to steal the must-have Christmas Santa hat from my sister—a typical fluffy one.
How cold does it have to be to forgo all style and simply dress up like a human sleeping bag?
I love dressing as a human sleeping bag! So as soon as it’s too cold to enjoy being outside, I’d rather be snuggled up warm and actually go outside than hide inside.
What’s your wintertime layering style? Do you simply layer with all your favorites? Go for full-on parka? Or are you more Doctor Zhivago, with a plush fur and shearling?
I am obsessed with cashmere layers all the way—they actually keep you warm.
