LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN: Stella McCartney’s spring campaign is fronted by Natalia Vodianova. Shot in Ibiza, it’s her seventh time as the face of the house. While Vodianova is a veteran of the Stella campaign circuit, the shoot’s photographer, London-based Harley Weir, was a rookie. Styled by McCartney herself, the campaign features Vodianova shot seaside and close-up, posting with Falabella bags around her face. It will run as six images in a single page and double page spreads, breaking in March issues of major fashion titles. There is also a mood film featuring Paul McCartney’s 1971 song “Ram On” to accompany the still images.

I love the shots by the sea!

I don't like the shots by the sea. She looks like a girl picked from the street, too basic. In fact, it looks photoshopped.

The studio shots however are quite good, and she looks considerably younger.

When I saw the thread title I was thinking 'Natalia... again?' but I was pleasantly surprised, I love how fresh and airy it feels, it doesn't feel saturated.. I do love the Art Direction on the campaign, I like the contrast between the settings.

The one thing I do admire about them as a brand is their campaigns are consistent, they fit the same DNA but remain different at the same time.

I do like the fact that Harley Weir shot this, there is only so much you can do with M&M.

The first two shots just look strange to me, from her expression to her pose. The last two shots are rather nice.

When I read the tittle I thought it was going to be the same like past seasons but this is really good, Natalia looks so beautiful.
