One of the major runway trends..... Not sure how this is called, if someone can help find the appropriate terms for this trend, would be much appreciated!

There is obviously neo goth roots to this gorgeous trend....

Ooh I see what you mean now... Stringy pieces of fabric right? I have no idea what this trend is called though...

I like the Gardem outfit on the right <3

i like those things too, i'm not sure what the exact term is, but i usually call it fringes

Love the title.

I like this a lot but I hope this doesn't mean a comeback for those awful comabats with stringy bits of a couple of years ago.

it's like fringe...but somehow not? I especially like the atsuro tayama piece. I agree cosmocat but I do somehow think this time around it will be a bit more feminine and delicate. interesting trendspotting, kimkhuu. :flower:

^ thanks Utopia.... ...this time around it's a bit more delicate and carefree.... ..a trend heavily influenced by what Ann Dem does..... :flower:

Fantastic title Kim  And a fantastic trend as well, I love it!

sort of like visible lacing or untied laces... i like it, i can see it factoring easily into actual streetwear

Ah, I used to own a Shirt that had two pretty-coloured long pieces of string attached to it that were supposed to be tied to ribbons, but they ribbons always opened and I ended up looking like in the random pictures and it bugged the hell out of me. It also looked very strange - I was wearing that shirt to school and my Latin teacher pointed to it in the middle of class and asked what that was supposed to be. Not for me.

I'd call them drawstrings because a lot of them look like they'd ruche the fabric if you pull them (which is esentially what a drawstring does)

^ That's what I initially thought, until I saw an outfit with the strings all over it, and they're not drawstrings, they're just sewn on to it... ...

I guess it really depends... :flower:

I really want to customise a lot of my tops to add those pieces of fabrics to them!
