suggested handbag repairs in London or UK?

Good day all,
I'm new here, and am enquiring to hopefully gather info on any establishments that offer handbag repairs in London, or the UK? The handbag in question is not leather, and instead is a divine early-90's quilted silk Chanel gripoix evening bag, with pearl strung handle- this has had to be restrung (done!), and now needs to be reattached, thus it needs to be executed by a skilled hand.
Alternatively, as a last resort, I am thinking if I can't locate a suitable place here in UK, that I will have to post it off to New York.

ask at shops with a good reputation if they can refer you to somebody, like Asprey London, Swaine Adeney Brigg or of cause one of Chanel stores.

i would also inquire at fancy department stores like browns or matches. they might have a go-to person/atelier they send their items to.

it can't hurt to inquire at chanel boutiques also.
