I've been wanting to purchase either Marc Jacobs aviators/venetia/Chanel 5076's, but I've been really hesitant because it's the end of the year and I know that as soon as I purchase them the new ones will come out!

So anyway, my questions are.
1. What's new for next year? When are the new collections coming out?
2. What's here to stay? Aviators or big sunglasses?
3. To purchase or not to purchase the 05 MJ's or Chanel's?

I dunno. I'm going through the same dilemma myself, I think I may just stick with the 3 pairs I already have and alternate between what goes with each outfit.

Personally, I'm a huge proponent of "if it works for you", go with it. Although, I'm not a huge fan of the very very big circle black sunglasses that make you look like a fly. I do like big sunglasses though, like the ones Angelina Jolie wears :D

I completley understand your dilema. I myself was thinking the same thing. Although I just went with instinct and bought a pair of Dior Aviators. I like them and to be honest I don't really care whether or not they are consider "in". Buy what you like. Don't depend on trends, do your own thing. Atleast that is how I felt about the sunglasses. If you like them, get them. Don't get them to be part of a trend, get them if you really like them.

for 2006: goodbyyyye to oversized sunglasses like the dior glossy1's, dita supadupas.

dont let the door hit you on your way out.

I really like oversized sunglasses. I will be sad if they suddently go out. But then I will still wear mine.

Me too! :flower: They are a classic, like the ones Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O and Grace Kelly used to wear.

There's still lots of oversized ones in most designer's 2006 sunglasses catalogues. My friend owns a optical store so I took a sneak peak at those a few weeks ago.;)

:woot: i so want them, but they are a little bit to much for me:cry:

Oh last year i bought so much aviators, some from ray ban (classics) some from dior and one from gucci, so why i should leave the aviator train? It's a must in 2006 too, ... In the summer time i will have a look in the shops maybe its something cool out.

Yes, same here.

I've tried the small ones, but I find the oversized look better on me.
