We Are Scientists (love them), Clap Your Hands say Yeah, Dirty Pretty Things (Carl Barats new band), Editors, iForward Russia, Nine Black Alps (I've seen them before, and they're a brillant grunge band), The Paddingtons (Aww, my London darlings), Jenny Owen Youngs (Check her myspace, Voice On Tape is beautiful song).
Wow, SXSW is brilliant this year.

I think Nizlopi are going to be playing SXSW this year as well...they're a great folk duo that are definately worth checking out. They are brill. live.

I was really hoping to catch this show, but tickets are proving to be elusive for me and my friend. Blargh. I really really wanted to see Arctic Monkeys because I heart them, no matter how much people have started to diss them for their hype. I think they are amazing musicians and deserve the fame they've gotten. Definitely check them out because La Zona Rosa is a great venue, especially for a band as popular as they are.

So definitely them. Dirty Pretty Things, We Are Scientists, Boy Kill Boy, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Cribs, Nine Black Alps, The Duke Spirit, Minus the Bear (AMAZING), Metric, Morrissey, The Unicorns, The Rakes, Test Icicles, Editors, The Paddingtons, The Others... a bunch more I bet I missed.

So far, there is going to be a huge party with ATX Fashion magazine on Wednesday.

On Friday the *gasp* MisShapes will be DJing a party, and on Saturday Stuff Magazine is having a sort of cool party during the day.
