Bio
Inspired by his Father in hairdressing, Syd Hayes began his illustrious career as a hairdresser at the young age of 17 at the prestigious Nicky Clarke's in Mayfair, completing his apprenticeship along side Nicky Clarke himself. On leaving Nicky Clarke Syd joined the team at Daniel Hersheson where he proceeded to work very closely with renowned session stylist Luke Hersheson who was instrumental in introducing him to the world of high end fashion.

The next stage of Syd's career was spent with the legendary session stylist Guido Palau where he spent three years working along side & assisting Guido on countless advertising campaigns, editorial and shows all over the world.

Syd Hayes has become one of the most requested session stylist working in the industry and he is currently the UK ambassador for L'Oreal Paris. His dedication & passion for hairdressing over the last twelve years has resulted in him regularly being requested & working with photographers such as Alasdair McLellan, Angelo Pennetta, Cass Bird, Liz Collins, Scott Trindle, Juergen Teller and Solve Sundsbo. His work has appeared in countless publications such as British Vogue, French Vogue, i-D, V Magazine, Love and in campaigns for Givenchy, Louis Vuitton Mens, Marc by Marc and Marc Jacbos mens. Syd has continued success in creating stunning hair during fashion weeks & has led shows for Paul and Joe, Mary Katrantzou, Preen, Holly Fulton, Sibling, Marques Almeida and Jimmy Choo menswear.
