Tonight the finale for Holland's Next Top Model 2011 took place and to nobodys surprise, it was Tamara Slijkhuis that won. She's absolutely beautiful and bears a stunning resemblance to Brooke Shields at times. It must be the brows. Oh, and her walk and runway presence is amazing. I think Tamara could make it pretty far if she's managed right. Her victory landed her a €75000 contract at Touché Models Amsterdam and a Max Factor ad campaign among others.

She definitely has a sense of mystery over her that I haven't placed my finger on yet. I think one she polishes up with a better book, she could be ready for something worthy.

She was always very professional and always performed in front of the camera. She had a bit of an arrogance over her towards some of the other contestants, though.

I thought she was horrible. What a attitude.
I remember that Riquelle (the youngest,16) who had some trouble with a shoot and she got a lot of directions from the photographer. When they asked Riquelle how it went and she thought she did fine, Tamara said with the most arrogance: well at least i can do it alone without any help. But she was at the shoots working with the photographers very professional.

She got strong photo's but i don't think she will really make it that far with her look. I think Riquelle had more international potentional but need to work on her attitude. She was my face for the winning, not in person.

I immediately recognized her from hntm but with a different last name. So she has changed it! Does anybody know why? because of hntm?

^Perhaps because Slijkhuis roughly translates to Slimehouse or Mirehouse... but that's only a guess.

Anyway I'm excited to see some international attention!

That's what I think as well, she was horrible on the show tbh. I didn't read anything about HNTM in either of the articles.
However, she is really gorgeous, maybe a little too beautiful for high fashion.
My favourites from the show were Riquelle and Michelle (especially the latter). Does anyone know if they are already signed to an agency?

I guess she wants to distance herself from HNTM indeed. She also switched from Touché (where she won the contract) to Future Faces in Amsterdam.
