I know right? but since she comes from a very wealthy family im guessing she probably spent a couple of summers/seasons in Russia/Ukraine or elsewhere near those countries studiying, but that's just me speculating lol.

Tamila is actually both a Russian and Indian name. She could actually be from a part of Russia or ex-Soviet Union where many Muslims live and still use the Cyrillic alphabet (Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, etc.) That is why she probably speaks Russian as well, unless maybe she just knows Russian for some godforsaken reason.
