When you think Berlin you think underground, independent, diverse and creative with a unique energy. Words that could also be used to describe Swiss model Tamy Glauser who now spends time between Paris and the German capital.
The androgynous Swiss/Nigerian beauty has been modelling since autumn 2012 when she rocked the catwalk for Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood. In January 2013 Tamy also made her mens catwalk debut walking Givenchy.
Her editorial credits include Numero Homme, Commons & Sense and Tush.

What’s your best feature: Probably my hands. I like them.
Top 3 beauty products: The daily microfoliant from Dermalogica. Hydraphase mask and eye cream from La Roche-Posay.
Your favorite fragrance: I never use perfume.. and my deodorant is unscented…
What’s been your most lavish purchase?: I cant remember the last time I bought something for myself. Most of my clothes are gifts from friends or jobs or I found them somewhere.
Hobbies: Girls and cigarettes.
Fitness Regime: uff.. I should have one, shouldn’t I? I eat healthy for the most part. Not because I have to, but because I like it. Healthy food makes me happy.
What was the last movie you watched?: Reality bites. A must see, especially when you are an eighties baby!
What was the last track you listened to on your iPod?: I got FKA Twigs with “Two Weeks” and Sirens of Lesbos with “Long Days, Hot Nights” playing on repeat at the moment.
Do you have any Guilty Pleasures?: The latest season of the Kardashians. i’m so embarrassed!
What is your biggest fear?: Spiiiiiders… they freak me out and make me scream and i’m not the screamy-type girl. I’m really bad with heights as well.
What is your dream country to visit?: Iceland. I’d really love to see the northern lights one day.
If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?: I’d probably be in Berlin studying sociology as I planned to or maybe i would have lost myself and be a stripper by now. An androgynous one that doesn’t like to dance much. who knows…
If you got to relive one day in your modeling career it would be…: One of my biggest moments, also because i had just started with modeling, was the Jean Paul Gaultier show inspired by icons from the 80ies. It was incredible. I didn’t know much about fashion at the time, but I could just tell from the vibes backstage that this was a big thing and i loved every moment.
If you could be on the cover of any magazine, it would be: TIME magazine
What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you on a shoot?: At every shoot funny things happen, we always laugh, but writing them down just doesn’t sound funny. Once a parrot took a **** on a Prada dress I was wearing. I think the stylist was the only one not laughing.
What was the last thing to make you cry?: Oh.. just my monthly depression. LOL
What’s your favorite fashion city and why?: Paris. They live and breathe fashion everyday, everywhere. It has such a history, that fashion seems to be in their genes.
Who are your idols?: All the humans that risk their own lives to safe or protect animals. Other than that, I don’t have an idol in that sense.
What was the last dream you remember?: I have absolutely no idea.
