Tatler April 2025 : Lucy Boynton by Luc Braquet

Got my subscription copy this morning, 152 pages, no supplement this month. Inside front cover advert is Vuitton.

Articles include the end of hereditary peers to sit in the House of Lords (not necessarily a good thing, if you consider who does get elected in their place due to political cronyism), the art deco design at Claridge's, the cover story with Lucy Boynton (reminding me of Emma Roberts here), and there's a fair amount of Chanel involvement in this editorial, with a vague theme of Vanessa Paradis in the birdcase. "Britain's sexiest jockey" is Harry Cobden (I'm more used to jockeys being Irish, I had to look him up).

The fashion editorial is LET'S GET RICH & SWEATY, shot by Luc Braquet and styled by Sophie Pera. It's a studio-shot editorial which is one-part 80s aerobics video, one-part Dynasty... a Princess of Monaco goes to the gym.

Then Tatler covers the legacy of Jocelyne Wildenstein, followed by the most unexpected article - 'Tatler vs The Face', looking back at those magazines in the 80s, with tiny vintage cover shots galore. There wasn't any mention of either of these features on the cover, but it's like Tatler had read my mind and given me exactly what I wanted to read in a society mag.
