After an interesting enough period under the editor Richard Dennen, Tatler seems to be lapsing into another one of its phases where it just churns out exactly the same content every month, with the sons and daughters of people you don't give one fig about featured on the front - a monotony made worse by the use of the same yellow masthead for four or five of the issues produced this year.

I still prefer it to a lot of other magazines, but by its own standards, these are filler issues.

who and who?
nepotism strikes again.
the ‘Lady’ and the Becker surname are undeniable disclaimers of why these people are on the cover.

now, judgements aside, he actually looks cute whereas the ‘Lady’ could be any English girl dressed up.

The poor bloke has been set up. Imagine not conventionally 'hot' yet a massive 'Hottest Dates in Britain' tagline blasted across on a cover that you appear on?

Either way, styling looks dull. I like what he's wearing and the sort of autumn colours, but her dress looks like something she borrowed off her gran.

since when they ditched the posh, 60s vibes and went to this Instagram hipster?

My subscription copy turned up today, the 162-page main issue comes with a 100-page watches & jewellery supplement. Other content in this issue includes an interview with former New Yorker Countess Sondes at home in Kent - "Joan River's ashes are in a green box" - a feature about the art scam organised by Angela Gulbenkian, and a look at the women of the Rothschild family.
