Got my subscription copy this afternoon. Feels like a thin issue, with no supplement this month, but at 136 pgs, a standard issue of Tatler might be bigger than many US magazines.
At a cover price of £5.99, you'd need to be part of the 1% to be buying this at the newsstand.
There's a short article by Dafydd Jones about his career as Tatler's social/party photographer, first hired by Tina Brown in 1981. The cover story - as seen above - is more of a cover section, because it also includes an interview with Margarita, as well as a family tree, and a look at the work of Lord Snowden, society photography being a mini-theme in this issue.
The fashion editorial is WE ARE NOT A MUSE, 12 pgs, shot by Perry Ogden and styled by Hannah Teare, with Annie Arnander and Ella Hope Merryweather playing the parts of modern-day Pre-Raphaelite beauties, accompanied by Andrew Campbell. Mention is made of a new Tate Britain exhibition featuring the Rossetti family.
There's a piece on politician Matt Hancock, and 'country house of the month' is how Lady Sophie Neville is planning to restore Eridge Park in Kent. The back page Tatler Throwback features Princess Margaret for her wedding day back in 1960.
