i loved it..
how the model fitted perfectly on the side of the cab doors....
and the rest of the cab was covered in monologue

In New York Helmut Lang does taxi ads, havent seen any other major designers though.

:o :o

Years ago, I used to see "Yahoo" cars parked in the silicon valley.
Many companies would pay common people to allow their
cars to get painted for like few hundred dollars a month as long
as they met some minimum monthly driving requirements.
Never saw taxis being used for the purpose, though.

as a recent graduate of marketing...

What a new concept...

"Wrapped" (full graphic) taxis have been around for a few years in San Francisco, but I have never seen any designer-specific ones. Usually dot coms or banks.

I've seen full subway stations (not for designers though, we're not that stylish), so why not measely taxi cabs? ;)

I think that Helmut Lang rents space on every other cab these days

But I've yet to see a full on taxi as advertisement-

I did start to notice cabs sometime last year in NYC that had replaced the placards on the top of the car with plasma screens to run advertisements. I guess there are more now, but I don't really pay attention. :nuke: Sensory overload :nuke:

Ive seen an HSBC (bank) car in NYC, we actually got this card from the bank before we left for our trip there that had the number to call and the taxi would come and get you! It was awesome and very clean

I wanna see a Dior car....

Theres a lot here in La for things like 7-up and radio stations and things but the koolest was a Red Bull one that even had a huge can on the car...

I don't think it's either original or tasteful. People who can afford Dior have tjeir own limos and don't use taxis too often, anyway...

Sorry, but I don't think it would have a positive visual effect on me. But to each their own, of course! :flower:
