That headline annoyed me. I see her lifestyle as very authentic and young and she doesn't come off as if she's doing it to rebel against Hollywood. She just has a genuine interest in the environment and being environmentally friendly but obviously the industry has to commercialise it like they do everything.
I think Shailene, who's work I love, looks SO much better with minimal makeup and when styled simply. The photoshop, makeup, and accessories overdose are ruining it. Additionally, it looks like they've tried to disguise her haircut a bit. Could have been so much better.
The cool thing about Shailene is that she always wears such natural and romantic makeup, allowing her to look young and beautiful, and here they just absolutely ruined all of that with photoshop. Weird message to send teens.
It´s all about american pop culture... Shailene will star in a new YA movie called Divergent but she was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2012 for The Descendants (with George Clooney). Even though she´s not über famous yet I´d say that she´s not an unknown either.
