Tell me what face creams you use, not too expensive.

I leave my fancier stuff for the night but for the day:

The Face Shop's Rice Ceramide emulsion. I use this in the morning before applying makeup because I find creams too heavy, especially around this time of year with high humidity. It's less than $15.

Caudalie's Soleil des Vignes After-Sun Milk. I use this after cardio and washing my face at the gym. It's hydrating, it calms down the pores (at least till I get home and take a shower) and I feel like it makes me look less like a tomato lol. It's also around $15.

Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream. I never returned to other brands since I tried K-Beauty skincare and makeup.

Same, girl! I literally saw that cream on Friday and was wondering if it was good...

I still stick to French pharmacy brands for skin issues (sun spots, freckles, rashes/breakouts from gluten/celery allergies), but the korean stuff is so gentle for everyday use. I've been obsessed with Beauty of Joseon's revive serum for a while. Also recently moved on to Korean shampoos cause I'm trusting they know how to handle humidity the way I do not. I've been using mise en scene's perfect serum. Smells amazing..

I just bought another bottle a couple of days ago, it's sooo good! I also love COSRX snail mucin essence, Round Lab dokdo toner, and Biodance Bio-collagen Deep Sheet mask - it smoothes my fine lines in hours! Might give a try to Korean shampoos too! x

Chanel Hydra Beauty Camellia Water cream and Lancome UV Expert Supra Screen SPF 50 - they are not expensive at all

Having always had oily skin which can easily break out, I'm not interested in trialling an endless series of whatever's new on the market on the off-chance that it might work for me. I would rather use nothing than risk making any issues worse.

I wash with Dermalogica's Ultracalming Cleanser, use The Inkey List for surface treatments (e.g. azeleic acid), with Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair for my forehead.

Oiliness means that you don't tend to develop the fine lines that can occur with persistent dryness, but after being alive for around half a century, gravity comes calling for your face, and that's not something that can be addressed with a cream.
