ace phases & discretion
burberry was & is still one of the ultimate brilliant labels.
I am lucky enough to possess inherited vinatge Burb from 60s-80s handed down to me by parents.
Let me tell you the tailored wool pinstripe suits in charcoal & navy are so exquisite, they may be unsurpassed in my wardrobe.
then you have the french cuff shirts with stripes on white and the blue dress shirts with contrast white collars & cuffs.
again, a dream.
and classic navy/white and black/white neckwear.
and the tan trenchcoat, obvs a hall of fame essential item.
thankfully burberry still makes every one of these items, howvever the cut is more updated. and their prices are higher now too, but the quality remains.
I got the quilted hacking jacket in navy for about $500 recently & its superb.
but if you really want to style, look up the wool pinstripe suits in either navy or charcoal. peerless.
ps imo DO NOT wear Burb plaid OUTSIDE- that is a recent faux pas that NO tried & true Burb wearer would do -so so gauche & it looks COUNTERFEIT
[see spurious 'chav culture' articles about imitation plaids from UK].
