Temperley London F/W 07.08 NYC

Oh the head pieces are very nice! Iekeline looks like a goddess with it on. And that orange dress on Solange is a knock-out. Pretty nice collection from what I see.

The orange dress is stunning. I'm loving this, I love the details, the dresses, and the headgear is great.

um....
no. i like that alice is trying something a little different, but it doesn't work

the pictures make the colors look weird. they were much prettier in real life.

one thing that she is consistent with is the fit of her clothes...they are cut beautifully..!

Yes, yes, yes, that is one of my favorite movies ever! The brides of dracula wore those gorgeous headpieces, combine that with Ieke's cheekbones and voila! Bloody good...
oh yes you're absolutely right, it was those scary chicas. The white one made me think of Lucy's headdress. Went a-googling but only came up with these..

and those head things are gorgeous..reminded me of romeo & juliet when i saw it

Tinuviel, you're always so spot on with references on designers' work.

something I greatly admire on alice is exactly what tinu's pointed out and what her collections are often about: just rich materials, beautiful embellishment and reminiscences from far away landscapes, not as the exotic getaway for most fashion insiders but more as a historical travel in time.. which makes it worth watching. what tends to put me down with her, is that, when it comes to the clothes, taking all the ornaments and show surroundings away.. it's just painfully plain for me.. I feel like, with all the obvious knowledge she has, she should be experimenting so much more with her designs rather than keep sending tight v-neck dresses season after season and exclusively relying on how to live them up with accesories or ambiental techniques. :ninja:

definitely! This collection is far and away my favorite of hers so far but instead of the cookie cutter dresses I feel like she's capable of so much more.. but perhaps this is just her aesthetic?.. Beautiful collection regardless. Thanks for sharing Kevinn.
