Tess Giberson F/W 14.15 New York

Oh my goodness, yes!! This is so urban and cool in a rather relaxed and unique way that we haven't seen  She's on a roll lately.

There are so many pieces in this collection that are begging to be worn. Puffy coats aside, love it!

I'm so happy!! LOVE THIS. I have to own one of the tree-print items. The knits, too, are sumptuous!

Such a sucker for those tree-printed pieces and all that sheer gingham.

This is probably my favorite so far this season...

i love this! even though as a total look it takes on a slightly easier, less aggressive variation of demeulemeester and rick owens,my eye is still immediately is drawn to the individual pieces. that's really where tess' work shines because you see all the workmanship and little hidden design details that she does so beautifully and thoughtfully. btw,the tree prints(which i adore as well)are illustrations done by her husband jon widman. some of you may remember their collaborations in her early years and some are posted on her individual thread.

^I just love seeing when two people who know each other so well manage to create such beautiful art together. Thanks for that additional info, Scott.
Everything about this just feels so right. I also agree about the strength of every individual piece with all the gorgeous details, but at the same time I have massive love for the beautiful styling here as well. There are only two looks here that I don't love (the one with the fuzzy coat with the quilted pockets, and the one with the black jacket with leather sleeves and the blue pants and burgundy boots), everything else I would die to wear exactly the way it's presented here. I cannot wait to see pieces from this collection in store, I will want so much of it! I absolutely adore this!:heart::heart:

^you're welcome psylocke ;)

i just saw some close-up looks at hintmag and i have to revise my first impression because up close you get a real sense of what she was trying to capture with the styling. there is this wonderful sense of woodsiness about this….her play on flannels….thermal leggings….puffas….the big chunky knits….all to ethereal effect in the way she worked and played with volume. it's gorgeous.
