TFS Fashion Week Attendees...

:woot: I'd love to go but it would be a little tight schedule-wise with my class finishing 20 minutes before...and I'm not sure even I am that sneaky :P

^ I've got a Marc class conflict too  this is just the price we pay for higher learning I suppose  I hope everyone is having a good week thus far!

1st Time Attending NYC Fashion Shows...

This season is the first time I am going to be attending shows in NYC. Is there any special etiquette or procedures I need to follow? I got one invitation that left the "section, row, seat" part blank... do I just sit anywhere (except the front row of course)? I don't want to ask when I get there for the fear of sounding like such a newbie, although I am! If anyone has gone to shows I'd really like to know what I should do beforehand... thanks!

if your seat isnt indicated i would assume you're standing only.

i could be wrong though

When you check in they will give you your seating assignment, or they may call you prior to the show with that information, and you can fill it in there:flower:

aww you're a fashion week virgin...so cute.
Anyway make sure you have your invitation at hand there will be sign to the show you will be attending and most likely a line. If you are attending a show at Bryant Park wait in line until you get to the desk with usually 3 to 4 pr girls checking in, from there they will tell you if you are standing or you have a seat assignment.

Just for future reference just because your invitation seats are blank doesn't mean you will be in standing line. My experience the shows I thought I will be standing I had seat assignments. Don't feel bad if you are in standing room. I sat in third row at a show one time and I could barely see anything and then I was at a show where I was standing behind the last row and saw the whole looks of the models. But anyway have fun and talk to people.

Is anyone going to NY Fashion Week?

I couldn't find a topic on this, so if there is one already, please combine this thread with it. :flower:

Is anyone planning on going to NY Fashion week? I'm going to go to Bryant Park this weekend, bring my camera, and try to take photos and talk to some of my favorite models and maybe even designers. I don't have any way of getting into the shows, but perhaps I could still catch a glimpse of people walking in.
