TFS picks ... Favorite Shoes F/W 08.09

those dries are something but if they have the same heel placement as last year they will be impossible to stand or especially walk a step in. it was a mess, a really bad design on his part.

LOVE these.

What a shame! I didn't know that...

Yes - The Dries heel placement on the Spring / Summer shoes was really precarious. In my opinion, it looked good, but functionally, it was a bit off......I really couldn't walk in any of the Dries S/S shoes that I tried on --- Despite that, his S/S collection was amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the F/W as it comes into the stores.

^ did I say "less clumsy" B)...mine went back for just that reason. they could have been so cool but went too far. :ninja:

Best shoes of the season.... Definitely Maison Martin Margiela....... Other designers will follow suit next year, as always. Really pointy metal heels, always exquisite, unexpected details makes his pieces standouts.

You sent back the RO because they were too clumsy? or the YSL? The YSL seem like the perfect ankle boot :heart:

Never been a fan of anything that looks like a large nail driven in upside down.

As to MK and whatever that is on her feet, there are no words. At least none tFS will let me use. :sick:

the YSL, they def did not look edgy but like a big overgrown mushroom on your foot. I actually think the tall version is much better than the ankle IRL.

i love big clumsy shoes!! the RO are way too much but the ysl's i think are just perfect :heart:

oh no!! Did you get the tall ones instead? I cant wear boots anymore - my calves are so large even the boots i had stretched last winter dont fit anymore. when i showed my bf the balenciaga boots on mk he thought they were way too chunky, but said they look good on me because my calves balance them out. So I'm hoping maybe it'll be the case with these, although I'm waiting until sales to see if I can find them then.

I canceled the dior gladiators, I'm hoping to find them on sale or maybe ebay for less before my brothers wedding. Every single store seemed to have ordered a million pairs so I'm not worried about missing out.

can anyone please direct me to the chanel F/W 0809 shoes?
both runway pictures, celebs or just close up/detail shots?

thanks in advance, karma will be waiting :flower;
