What is wrong with the women this year...some of the ugliest dresses I have ever seen. Lots of poor quality materials and cuts.



The two dresses of the night in my oppinion were Kyra Sedgewick's and Jamie Pressly's dark number she wore whilst presenting.

The others I liked were..
Melanie Lynskey -(wish it was longer)
Ellen Pompeo (sp?) -stunning dress...BAAAD hair
Evangeline Lilly- WOW! But I cant help feel its not the best colour for her.
Calista Flockhart -love the dress the lining bugs me a tad but not that much beacuse its pinkish

Everyone looked pretty dull and borderline awful . But these ladies managed to look quite decent

Portia De Rossi: the dress is just classic and airy. She pulled it off perfectly

Evangeline Lily: She looked radiant and she surprised me because I never thought purple would look that good on her. I just hoped she would get more experimental with her red carpet style because I feel she can pull off the more edgier looks

Ellen Pompeo: I'm glad she chose a Dior dress from 3 seasons ago. I never understood why the dresses from AW05 collection were completely ignored by celebs. The hair was really bad but overall she did the dress justice


Kyra in that huge Armani Prive dress looked pretty horrendous. The dress was wearing her rather than the other way around .

WOW Helen Mirren (is that her name) out did them all, just saw the pic. in her 50's and what an elegant woman!

On the E! Fashion Police, they said that Eva was in a dress by Jason Liu, Loo, Luke??? Something like that. Does anyone know who this designer is?

Also, Kim Raver was in Pamela Roland. Not sure if that was mentioned already.

I agree, and I think that in general, movie actors/actresses are more fun to watch style-wise on the red carpet than television personalities.

Paris - she at least is covered and looks decent (not great but decentlol:
Patrick Dempsey - what can I say he looks great and I love his wife's jewelry

Ellen P. - the ponytail just looks terrible and hardens her features, and I'm not crazy about the dress
