I've noticed a vaguely 40's vibe in some of the collections lately (well, late 30's/early 40's to be exact)
It's mainly in jackets and dresses. I think a lot of it has to do with the accentuated shoulders and very defined waists. In jackets the shoulders are definitly a bit more pronounced then they have been in recent seasons, and there have been a ton of fluid, soft cap-sleeved dresses, some in very vintage looking florals. I don't know if it's a trend exactly, but it has caught my eye.
