The 78th Annual Cannes Film Festival 2025

Nothing trult wow so far.

I want to like that LV on Emma Stone, but all I can see is a bib over a gown.

That green gown on Ariana Greenblatt (whoever she is) is nice, but she's drowning in it.

My favorite so far is Saffron Vadher in that orange gown (who is it?). Such a throwback to 90s/00s style that I really miss.

I LOOOVE Kristen. ❤️ Chanel x Kristen just works almost 20 years now.

Amal is a such wannabe! Whatever media serves about this woman I am NOT buying it. Real Houswife of Middle East in my head. Just my opinion. But honestly cannot chew her!

The stunning piece Jennifer Lawrence wore last night is inspired by famous "Poulenc" gown made 1949. and dedicated to composer Francis Poulenc, Dior's close friend. On the first two images is the original gown wore by Dior's muse Alla Ilchun and photographed by Phillippe Poitier, while on the second two is this new one, custom made for Jennifer Lawrence.

I keep on seeing articles and posts just raving about this and making sure we see it’s from 1949 but dear lord… the quality is night and day. To me it shows how the standards at the current Dior have dropped. One would think a couture house would nail the fit but that bodice is atrocious and the pleats look like an arts and crafts project while the original has volume without the underskirt.

As far as the change in rules… good. The naked dress is done to death and a cheap gimmick. The trains… eh I do love one well done but here Im sure people use it as a stunt. Like the random lady last year posing in the stairs with a picture of who knows who trying to have a “moment” and security having to tell her to wrap it up. I blame the Met Gala for this, now everyone wants to pile more sh*t on for shock value and have a moment or perform on whatever red carpet.

Bella in YSL…ehh, that hair color isn’t very flattering and she should just have gone with a Vintage Versace as opposed to the YSL knockoff.

Angelina in Brunello Cucinelli…stunning fabric, she looks good but a bit washed out.

Irina in Elie Saab… could have worked but what’s going on with her recent make up looks, she looks so washed out on top of that horrible hair. Wet hair is never a good choice, it has never looked good on a red carpet, just greasy.

Isabeli looks stunning, Alessandra I like the color of her first dress just not the sponges on her arm, her second black Balmain look is perfect.

Pom Klementeiff… perfection, the shade, the draping…is it the in house team who is doing these Loewe looks? They also just did another great piece for Beyoncé’s tour.

Halle Berry… bless her, just go with Elie Saab and call it a day.

Natalie Portman… pretty, a better recreation than JLaw got but if you’re going to do something again, do it better.
