The Best & Worst Catwalkers

I find myself defending Karlie's walk at every given opportunity, it is a strong walk, acquired tastes I must admit but its definitely not one of the worst. Would you rather have someone who shows personality and actually is interesting like Karlie or someone who just walks very plain, boring and very uninspiring.

As for Kinga her walk is very good, it goes with what I say about personality. She carries herself extremely well and actually has something in her walk.

Well, Karlie's walk is quite controversial, and it is kinda of an acquired taste... But Kinga? Really?

The worst walkers, in my opinion are in reigning order: Karlie Kloss, Arizona, and that chick, what's her name again, she was the second walker in the recent YSL 2012/2013 collection, absolutely horrendous

and

ditto to Maximilian S, I also have "high standards on catwalking" - I'm simply not impressed at all with a few of the current batch of models on the runway. Oh, and I forgot to add Kinga to my list above.

Karlie & Arizona's walk are polar opposites, one does not try at all and the other tries way too hard. Plus, the faces Karlie makes towards the camera :yuk:

I also get why you picked Kinga in the worst. I personally don't think she's one of the worst but she can be too much sometimes. Its like MCB on steroids! I did not like her in the past but now with so many bad walkers, she has become one of the better ones imo.

Kayla Kuyler might have the best walk for a newcomer I've seen, period.

Might not be perfect, but would you guess that's her first international season? She must've had some real good runway coaching. I'm impressed.

I can't decide who's walk is more an eye sore between Ben Hill and Arizona. (or we should've crowned them King and Queen of runway eyesore.:shifty:)

and talk about the worst, Reid Prebenda is always the first name out of my mind.
it's not he has the wackiest walk ever, but after all these years modeling, he doesn't change any a bit.
just watch this, long enough to convince you how bad his walk is.

I agree, I don't like Ben Hill on the runway, he looks confused and fidgety.

Reid Prebenda's walk is not that bad but it looks rigid and robotic. I also feel he tries to copy Noah Mills because their hand movement is quite similar.

Never noticed Ben's awkward runway walk :o Totally polarizing his poise printwork.

^^ then I'd say Reid's walk is getting weirder now. though his walk looks ok in that video, it's taken in 2006. track down his runway appearance recently, he upsets me in every show. you see the spring 2010 video I posted above, that's basically what he is doing now. looks like someone who is poor at body language but try to be a fluent dancer, embarrassing.

I think one of the most annoying male model walk belongs to Danny Schwarz. He is drop dead gorgeous but he should just be banned from the runway

I love Sui He's opening at the Ralph Lauren F/W 2011 show! It's so strong, full of confidence & powerful! One of her best struts :D:heart:

Sui He is so soft and she just commands attention without even trying, such a good walker.

^ Sui is good not powerful imo. Olga Sherer after her, now thats powerful, so flowy with the music, her walk is just perfect

Fei Fei Sun at Lanvin Spring 2011, one of her best runway moments, so fierce with the music beat and that effortless elegant turn at the end, I became a fan since then!

Another one in my worst list (and rant list) - Robin Ahrens. He was bad opening Prada Fall 2011, just as bad at Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 where I first noticed him and still as bad at last season's Hermes Spring 2013 :( a hopeless case.

Also he opens his mouth at the end of the runway at every show like Tom Warren used to do, so annoying.

Can we put 90% of the guys that just walked Versace F/W 2013 in here under worst?

^ I agree :D actually 90% of all new models (male/female) deserve to be in that list imo.

Although there were a couple of new guys at Versace I'd never seen that I'm dying to know! :buzz:

But I think this show was extra bad: Everyone trying to look and actually walk like "Uuuuh yeah babyyyy, I'm soooo hoooot"
